I eventually got my Omori din panel installed (at last!!) - so far i've only hooked up the boost gauge - some pics here: DAY: NIGHT: A short video clip of it in action: My car seems to be boosting to around 8/9 psi - is this normal for a stock C70 T5 (pre ME7)?...
does 8 psi sound about right for a 1998 C70 T5 (pre ME7?)?? as i keep hearing different values for what i should be.. on idle its about -21/22 in Hg and when i rev it goes to 0 psi and then on boost it hits about 8 psi.. does this sound about right??????

My ME7 c70 T5 boosts to 12psi peak according to my Greddy digital guage.....having said that if you reset the ECU it has seems to learn how much boost it can "do" and starts off at 8 psi and builds over about 30 miles of driving....i dunno if the pre ME7 ECU has that learning period. My 850 T5 boosts to about 11psi peak.....but i now have a 19psi remapped T5r ECU in it (sooooo fast! eats front tyres like nothing i've ever seen). Bear in mind 1 psi is worth about 10hp, so if your down 4psi thats like 40hp, thats a big chunk o go! On the pre Me7 ecu's you can bypass the boost control solonoid and stick a bleed valve in and run 14psi all day long (14.5psi is fuel cut).
hi pangster are you gonna tell us were you got the set up? i got a single din gauge holder of the bay & its crap & am looking for a good 1 like your own
